Participation in the NCSSAA can be volatile. While many programs are firmly established and appear to be locks to be involved from year to year, others may be suspended from time to time only to emerge again later.
This, combined with the fact that the history of high school football has been recorded since 1927, creates a need for page specific to programs that are currently dormant. listed below are previously-built pages for teams that were expected to participate in 2011 but chose not to. No sense in not making the information available regardless for those who may interested.
Over time, the page will grow to include programs that had past success but are now defunct will little to no hope of returning (such as Fisher Park, which had a fair bit of success in the 50's and 60's).
