(Ottawa Citizen) "Woodsworth quarterback Jordan Leith threw touchdowns passes of 16 and five yards to speedy halfback Mark Brown in the final 3 1/2 minutes of the second quarter to give Woodsworth a solid 21-08 halftime advantage."

(Ottawa Citizen, Nov 18th) "Brookfield went into the game with 19 straight victories...Quarterback John Flaherty combined with...Dave Dobson for a 59-yard pass-and-run play touchdown with one minute left in the half...A 76-yard pass-and-run play from Flaherty to Terry Wehrle on a second and eight from the St. Pius 17-yard line was the key to the second touchdown."

--QB Al Macartney hit Mike Branchaud for a 43-yard touchdown. The other points came from a conceded safety. The Head Coach was Rod McGillis.

--Kevin McAllister ran 28 times for 140 yards, including a 10-yard score. Bruce McGregor was the head coach.

The champs had to settle for the rest of their point on kicks, two singles by Brock Sharpe, a field goal and convert by Gary Marshall."

--This was a replay of a scoreless tie the previous week. Head Coach Jack Kinsella reached a 17-game undefeated streak with this victory. Attendance was estimated at 2500.

--(Ottawa Citizen, Nov 18th, 1954) "The game was a sudden-death replay of the final which the teams tied last Friday afternoon 7-7 in the same park...Bob Young paced the Irish, scoring both majors, while Dave Murphy booted a single point and Gord Ventura, the league's leading scorer over the regular season, added the convert on Young's second touch."

The ball bounced back over the goal line and Jimmy Conyers, Glebe middle wing, fell on it for the only major score of the game. Armando "Ponce" de Leon, Glebe's kicking and running star, added a pair of singles in the third quarter to conclude the scoring."
