(Ottawa Citizen, Nov 18th) "Brookfield went into the game with 19 straight victories...Quarterback John Flaherty combined with...Dave Dobson for a 59-yard pass-and-run play touchdown with one minute left in the half...A 76-yard pass-and-run play from Flaherty to Terry Wehrle on a second and eight from the St. Pius 17-yard line was the key to the second touchdown."

--This was a replay of a scoreless tie the previous week.  Head Coach Jack Kinsella reached a 17-game undefeated streak with this victory.  Attendance was estimated at 2500.
